Define adhesion contract

adhesion contract . A contract that is weighted in favor of one party, typically the party presenting the contract. The fine print Terms and Conditions that cruise and tour clients must agree to as a condition of taking the trip are examples of adhesion contracts. The Conditions of Carriage that are part of every airline ticket is another example. Because of the inherently unfair nature of such contracts the traveler might have some legal recourse in the case of a problem or dispute.
