Is there any cost to join the Home-Based Travel Agent Affiliate program?
A:
No! The Program is absolutely free to join.
Q:
How much do I get paid?
A:
You will be paid $25 for each sale directly referred by you. Plus,
you will be paid $10 for every sale referred by a sub-affiliate you
referred to us.
Q:
When do I get paid?
A:
You get paid every month in which you have earned commissions of at
least $35. If your commissions do not add up to $35, they are carried
over each month until they reach or exceed $35. Then we cut you a
check.
Q:
What is a sub-affiliate?
A:
Every time you refer someone to our web site (www.HomeTravelAgency.com)
and they sign up as an Affiliate, they become your "sub-affiliate."
So every time they refer a sale, they get $25 and you get a $10 sub-affiliate
referral fee.
Let's
say you refer Mary, who purchases the course. You earn $25. Mary likes
the course so much, she returns to the site and signs up as an affiliate.
She then refers Jim, who purchases the course. She earns $25 and you
earn $10.
Q: How do
you track my sales to assure I get paid what I am owed?
A: We use AssocTRAC
software, widely considered an industry leader in affiliate tracking
software. AssocTrac places a "cookie," a small snippet of
harmless computer code, on the computer of every person who clicks
through from your links. When they purchase the Home-Based Travel
Agent home study course, the cookie makes sure you get credit -- even
if it's up to three years after their first visit to our site!
Q: How can
I see how well my marketing efforts are paying off?
A: Simply log
on to your Home-Based Travel Agent Affiliate Program account (we'll
tell you how when you join) to access a variety of online reports
that track your activity in real time. Log on any time, day or night
to get the latest on your clickthroughs and commission earnings.
Q: I don't
have a web site yet. Can I still join?
A: Yes. You can
promote www.HomeTravelAgency.com by email to your friends and associates
(no spam!). You can also put your unique referral URL in your "signature
file," so you'll be promoting the course everytime you send an
email. But you should really think about getting your own web site
with your own domain name.
Q: Can I participate
in the program if I don't live in the United States?
A: Yes, but be
aware that the Home-Based Travel Agent home study course applies primarily
to the United States and Canada. We get very few orders from elsewhere.
Q: How much
money can I make?
A: That's impossible
to say. Everything depends on how actively and creatively you promote
www.HomeTravelAgency.com and the home study course. But we offer an
exceptionally high referral fee/commission on direct sales and a generous
sub-affiliate program.
Q: Why do you
ask for my Social Security Number (Tax UD) on the application form?
A: Because we
have to. For every affiliate who earns more than $600 in a calendar
year (and we hope that means you!), we must provide Uncle Sam with
a Form 1099MISC. You must file that form with your 1040.
Q: Where will
I find things like banners, ads, text links and articles I can use
to promote the Home-Based Travel Agent home study course?
A: In our Affiliate
Support section you will find a growing toolbox of marketing materials
that you are free to use, including banners and a variety of text-based
materials.
